POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Store Manager and Flagship Store Manager positions are crucial for the success of FedEx Office's largest retail stores. You will oversee and develop your business while ensuring Purple Promise service, operational excellence, and leading, developing, and coaching your team. Your leadership and passion for results enable the store team to provide solutions to customers and achieve financial goals.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Model FedEx Office values to customers and team members
  • Build and inspire high-performing teams using FedEx Office tools and resources; handle training, development, retention, and performance management
  • Coach your team and ensure they have the necessary tools and information
  • Work with large accounts, handle complex customer needs, and serve as a consultative partner for key customers
  • Ensure an exceptional store experience that engages customers and supports the FedEx brand
  • Take ownership of store controls, including SOPs, financials, safety, security, scheduling, and compliance
  • Improve operational and sales activities to exceed targets
  • Use independent judgment and effective decision-making in daily tasks such as accounts receivable, inventory, sales recaps, and deposits
  • Prioritize and manage multiple leadership tasks effectively
  • Share ideas and utilize Quality Improvement tools to enhance the business

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • At least 4 years of related experience (retail, service, hospitality, military), including 3+ years in supervisory roles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Meet all employment qualifications at hire; current employees must meet transfer and hiring criteria

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Stand and move about the store to manage daily operations
  • Lift up to 55 pounds
  • Bend and twist regularly
  • Travel as needed for meetings with customers, vendors, or business needs
  • Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods
  • Read and interpret documents and instructions
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
  • Work cooperatively and follow instructions
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Work independently within appropriate boundaries
  • Maintain regular attendance and support business hours, either on-site or remotely as required
