Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time unarmed patrol position in Whittier, CA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to clients and employees in a retail environment.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, conducting patrols, monitoring access points, and documenting activities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe operations to report security concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation as required.
