Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Retail Security Officer in Hershey, PA to maintain a safe indoor environment for clients, customers, contractors, and staff. You will patrol, monitor checkpoints, and document DARs while upholding company policies and procedures.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, strong communication skills, and reliability. Prior retail security experience is preferred, with open availability for varied shifts in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to stand on post for 80-90% of shift.
• One year of experience as a security officer, preferably in retail.
• Open availability to work all shifts and schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrance and departure of employees and visitors to guard against theft.
• Circulate among patrons and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent hazards and incidents.
• Enforce rules and respond to emergencies requiring security assistance.
• Escort individuals as needed and provide personal protection when required.
• Write detailed narrative reports and daily activity reports (DARs).
• Provide courteous assistance to customers, employees, and visitors.
