Job summary

Prosegur is hiring a Retail Security Site Supervisor in Washington, PA. The role ensures a safe indoor environment for clients, customers and staff by patrolling, monitoring, and enforcing post orders on a 24/7/365 basis.

You will write DARs, respond to incidents, and support daily security operations. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to stand 80-90% of shift, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be able to stand on post for 80-90% of shift
• Must have three (3) years of experience as a security officer, preference to those with prior retail security experience.
• Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean and clear driving record
• Must have open availability to work all shifts and schedules as needed
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good communications skills
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods
• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.
• Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property
• Guard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance
• Escort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection or to escort persons off customer property
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs)
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity
• Secure facility and designated areas
• Enforce facility and company policies and procedures
• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents
• Adhere to Post Orders
