Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Rover Officer to patrol varied environments, verify access, and respond swiftly to incidents. You’ll move throughout shifts, monitor alarms and cameras, and collaborate with law enforcement when needed.

Ideal candidates read environments well, maintain keen observation, and prioritize safety for persons and property. Comprehensive benefits, uniform provided, and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• First aid certification is an asset
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and 32h BSIS trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during hiring)

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

What’s In It For You

• Site Location: Torrance, CA
• Set schedule: 40 hours per week
  • 1st Shift: Friday- Tuesday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
  • 2nd Shift: Saturday - Wednesday, 08:00 am - 4:30 pm
