Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail experience preferred; several years preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Windows and Excel.
• Working knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems preferred.
• Ability to preserve confidential information, make sound decisions under time pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work day or evening hours, including weekends and holidays, stand and walk for 6-8 hours per shift, and lift or move objects weighing 20 pounds or more as needed.
• Must satisfy applicable licensing requirements and complete pre-hire paperwork, including a background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the sales floor and security systems, including CCTV, to identify and deter theft.
• Promote compliance with safety, theft prevention, and inventory control procedures.
• Conduct audits, complete incident and investigation reports, and support investigations as directed.
• Monitor facility access and assist with inventory planning, execution, and reconciliation.
• Partner with store management and associates on shrink action plans, safety, and awareness initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with local law enforcement and mall security, and represent the company in court proceedings related to apprehensions.
