Job summary

ScanScape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate in Charlotte, NC. You will visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes, using a mobile app, to collect in-store data and support client analytics. The role offers flexible hours and paid travel at your hourly rate.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, and can stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work with minimal supervision. GED preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to endure standing for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet high.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan all product barcodes on displays and aisles.
• Use a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Perform in-store data collection for grocery, convenience and other retailers.
• Maintain flexible hours and meet weekly deadlines for clients.
