Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit selected local stores, scan barcodes on displays and aisles, and help analyze product data to boost retailer performance.

Typical hours average 12–18 per week with occasional 1–2 extra hours per store for special projects, and travel is reimbursed at your hourly rate. The role offers eligibility for a 401(k) with employer matching and a monetary referral program, with work across Elgin and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Perform in-store data collection for weekly scanning across multiple store types.
• Complete display scanning across the entire store weekly.
