Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores, scan product barcodes, and help improve sales performance for brands and retailers. Base hours average 3–6 per week per store, with extra hours for special projects—especially January through June.

You will work with major retailers, using a mobile app to collect data and scan products. The role offers independence, flexible scheduling, and paid travel based on location and assignments.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter and have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must have basic tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes in various store locations.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete display scanning across the store weekly.
• Collaborate with major retailers and adapt to client requirements.
• Meet weekly deadlines and maintain dependable, quality work.
