Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, assist with plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and maintain store presentation. You will greet customers, help locate items, and operate the cash register to complete sales.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock shelves or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays; rotate and stock merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and keep checkout area stocked and tidy, bag merchandise and handle payments.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
