Job summary

Staples is hiring Retail Sales Supervisors to champion customer engagement and oversee front-of-store operations. You and the store team will focus on increasing sales, conversions and service, while actively engaging customers to provide complete solutions.

Hiring immediately. Provide peer coaching and oversee weekly sales and merchandising activities, directing the Floor Leader team to ensure an exceptional store experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule based on store needs.
• 1+ year of experience selling retail products or services.
• Able to engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Experience coaching a team and/or supervising others.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a respectful, non-confrontational way.
• Able to lift/move materials in the 10–50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer coaching and support to the store team to drive customer service, sales, and conversion.
• Focus on delivering an exceptional store experience, consultative selling, driving conversion, and providing total solutions to every customer.
• Own weekly sales and merchandising activities.
• Perform Floor Leader role, directing the team to deliver a great customer experience in all areas of the store.
• Champion company initiatives, adaptable to change or responsibilities, and flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
• Remain available and support an engaging environment.
• Complete daily tasks for merchandising and sales opportunities within the store.
• Assist with completing and delegating operational tasks in partnership with the GM.
• Peer coach team on behaviors to win, deliver great customer service and results through role playing and feedback.
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
