Job summary

Safeway is seeking a Retail Sales and Store Support team member to keep the store clean, organized, and easy to shop. You help customers locate items, answer questions, stock shelves, and maintain a welcoming environment across departments to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

You will also manage pricing, signage, and backroom organization, rotate stock, and assist with inventory while moving between tasks and departments.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused, friendly communication with customers and team members.
• Stock shelves accurately and maintain displays to brand standards.
• Understand store layout, pricing, and general merchandise across departments.
• Maintain accurate pricing and labeling; rotate stock as needed.
• Stay organized and manage multiple tasks during shift.
• Monitor product levels and assist with restocking and ordering.
• Operate equipment safely per guidelines and training.
• Move between tasks and departments with a flexible approach.
• Stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 60 lbs.
