Job summary

Safeway in Redwood City, CA is seeking a Retail Sales and Store Support team member to help keep the store clean, organized, and easy to shop. You will assist customers, locate items, restock shelves, and maintain welcoming areas across departments.

The role requires good communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. We offer weekly pay, employee discounts, and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (18 years of age or older, depending on role requirements).
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, balers, and box cutters following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.

Responsibilities
