Location

Retail Sales Specialist – Black Mountain Road, San Diego, CA Retail Location.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay: $20.00 per hour (potential to earn $25.40 per hour through commission and incentives). Base pay range: $18.00 to $31.75 per hour. Commission earnings target starts at $11,232. Additional incentive-based compensation may apply. Employees also receive perks such as free and discounted internet, TV, and mobile services.

Role Overview

As a Retail Sales Specialist at Spectrum, you will promote and sell Spectrum’s portfolio of products and services to both existing and new customers, enhance the customer experience, and maintain the store’s operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
• Identify sales opportunities and create ideal customer experiences through product support and education.
• Build positive customer relationships, listen effectively, overcome objections, and resell the value of our products.
• Maintain knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, promotions, and visual standards while minimizing product losses.
• Ensure a welcoming store atmosphere, deliver a clean retail experience, communicate effectively, adhere to policy, resolve issues, and participate in training programs.

Working Conditions

• Flexible schedule with regular attendance required.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 35 lbs. and prolonged standing.
• Work in a moderately noisy retail environment while adhering to Spectrum’s dress code.

Required Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• High comfort level with personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms, and proficiency in computer applications.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong reading, writing, speaking, and English comprehension ability; ability to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks, and handle change effectively.
