Job summary

Schraad Sales & Marketing is seeking a full-time in-store Sales Representative/Merchandiser focused on HEB in the San Antonio area. You will build relationships with store decision makers, drive promotions, and manage shelf presentation using a company tablet.

The role requires 18+, a valid license and reliable transportation, along with retail merchandising experience. Travel may be required to support store calls and events in the San Antonio Metroplex.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Retail sales/merchandising experience at HEB.
• Decision and leadership skills; organized and detail oriented; strong communication.
• Experience with learning/using technology (tablets, smartphones, computers).
• Reliable high-speed internet access.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with key store decision makers in-store.
• Execute planned and ad-hoc retail initiatives to maintain shelf integrity and support promotions.
• Use a company tablet to report work, schedule assignments, and document observations.
• Maintain coverage of the assigned retail territory per customer frequency plans.
• Attend resets and implement shelving plans as directed by the customer.
• Participate in team retail meetings and food shows as required.
• Travel may be required outside the local area, including overnight stays.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary:

We’re seeking a motivated self-starter and excellent communicator who excels at building relationships and rapport with department decision makers in store. This individual will be responsible for influencing stores to order additional product and to display client products during key promotional events. This position also includes general product merchandising and addressing ad-hoc opportunities during the store call. Experience working at or with HEB stores is preferred. This individual will be responsible for a territory in and around the San Antonio Metroplex.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Build relationships in-store with key decision makers across all departments.
• Execute pre-planned and ad-hoc retail initiatives to maintain shelf integrity and support promotions.
• Use a company provided tablet to:
  • Accurately report all work completed/store level actions, observations, photos, and issues
  • Schedule work assignments
  • Receive work documentation and information
  • Record work start and completion times
• Maintain coverage every reporting cycle of assigned retail territory according to customer frequency plans.
• Attend resets and implement retail schematics as directed by the customer to meet the shelving plan, as required.
• Participate in team-scheduled tasks such as retail sales meetings and food shows, as required.
• Travel may be required outside the local area and include overnight stays on occasion for meetings and other needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and provide valid proof of insurance that meets company requirements
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Retail sales/merchandising experience at HEB
• Decision and leadership skills, ability to be organized and detail oriented, and possess strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with Schraad staff and store personnel
• Experience and comfort with learning/using technology (Computers, Smart Phone, Tablets)
• Must have access to reliable high-speed internet
