Job summary

Schraad Sales & Marketing Food Brokerage seeks a full-time, in-store Sales Representative/Merchandiser to build relationships with store decision makers and drive product orders and displays during promotions. • Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must possess strong interpersonal, decision making and leadership skills.
• Strong demonstration of organization skills, being extremely detail oriented, commitment to maintaining quality standards per company policy and high attention to customer service.
• Must possess strong oral and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with Schraad staff and store personnel.
• Proficient with using Technology (Computers, Smart Phone, Tablets).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and provide valid proof of insurance that meets company requirements.
• Must have access to reliable high-speed internet.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships in-store with key decision makers across all departments.
• Execute pre-planned and ad-hoc retail initiatives to maintain shelf integrity and support promotions.
• Use a company provided tablet to report all work completed/store level actions, observations, photos, and issues; schedule work assignments; receive work documentation and information; record work start and completion times.
• Maintain coverage every reporting cycle of assigned retail territory according to customer frequency plans.
• Attend resets and implement retail schematics as directed by the customer to meet the shelving plan, as required.
• Participate in team-scheduled tasks such as retail sales meetings and food shows, as required.
• Travel may be required outside the local area and include overnight stays on occasion for meetings and other needs.

Job Description

Summary:

• We’re seeking a motivated self-starter and excellent communicator who excels at building relationships and rapport with department decision makers in store.
• This individual will be responsible for influencing stores to order additional product and to display client products during key promotional events.
• This position also includes general product merchandising and addressing ad-hoc opportunities during the store call.
• Experience working at or with HEB stores is preferred.
• This individual will be responsible for a territory in and around the Dallas Metroplex.
