Job summary

Fashionphile is seeking a Retail Sales Specialist in Los Angeles to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, and maintain an inviting store environment. You’ll help customers find products, explain promotions, and process transactions with accuracy.

As a team member, you’ll stay updated on product features, policies, and promotions while remaining flexible for evenings, weekends, and holidays. On-camera/media participation may be required as part of brand storytelling.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to problem solve.
• Enthusiastic, customer-focused, and eager to learn.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and engaging customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Assisting customers in locating products, answering questions, and making purchase decisions
• Maintaining knowledge of current promotions, product features, and store policies
• Accurately process sales transactions at the register, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining visual displays to company standards
• Keeping the sales floor clean, organized, and safe for customers and employees
• Participating in inventory counts, stock receiving, and product tagging as needed
• On-Camera & Media Participation: may be required for photos/videos used in internal communications, training, marketing, or brand storytelling

About The Opportunity

The Retail Sales Specialist is the face of the brand, providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a welcoming store environment. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain retail experience, develop customer service skills, and grow within the company.

Responsibilities include:

• On-Camera & Media Participation Requirement: As part of our retail team, associates may be asked to participate in company photos, videos, or other media used for internal communications, training, social media, marketing, or brand storytelling. This may include being featured on camera or appearing in the background of photos or video recordings taken in our retail locations. By accepting a role on our retail team, you acknowledge and agree that on-camera and media participation is a potential requirement of the job.

Pay Rate

This position begins at $18.42/HR for all New Hires into FASHIONPHILE's Los Angeles location + uncapped commission.
