Job description

National Retail Solutions (NRS plus), a division of IDT Corporation, is looking to add a passionate salesperson to our team. You will earn a competitive salary, benefits, and commissions!

NRS' Retail Solutions help our customers' small businesses monitor and grow their business more effectively.

The Retail Sales Specialist will be responsible for outside, direct sales of the NRS product and service portfolio in the Los Angeles area. These products include point of sale systems, credit card processing, cash advances, and future products.

The new team member will develop a plan to increase the reach of IDT and NRS products by prospecting potential customers, securing orders, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Make commissions from direct sales of Point of Sale devices, Merchant Services, Cash Advances, Loyalty Programs, and other retail products.
• Drive the application process, follow up, and close deals.
• Help customers understand how to use our services effectively.
• Provide light tech support on customer equipment.
• Set up and follow up on installations and appointments.
• Coordinate with support teams including Operations/Sales, Finance, and Help Desk.

Qualifications:

• Motivated individual with 1-2 years’ experience in selling Merchant Services.
• Prior experience with PoS implementation and sales.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; other languages considered.
• Willing to travel and visit customers door-to-door.
• Basic computer skills, comfortable using tablets and Bluetooth equipment.
• Knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder influence skills.
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
