Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a store associate to deliver outstanding customer service and support store goals in a dynamic retail environment. You will drive sales, maintain clean and organized merchandise presentation, and assist with stock and transactions.

Responsibilities include promoting rewards programs, adhering to store policies, and leading by example in accuracy and customer care. Prior retail experience is valued, with a strong work ethic and teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, preferably specialty retail or footwear.
• Basic knowledge of store policies and procedures.
• Good interpersonal and math skills for handling sales and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers per service standards.
• Maintain awareness of current promotions and merchandise presentation.
• Assist in stock, shipping/receiving, and merchandise placement on the floor.
• Process sales and POS transactions accurately and securely.
• Lead by example in accuracy and completeness of work.
• Support loss prevention awareness and cash control.
• Promote rewards programs and company initiatives.
• Ensure shoes are paired and checked during cashier duties.
