Job summary

Spectrum is hiring a Retail Sales Specialist to connect with customers and promote our internet, TV and mobile services. You’ll be the face of Spectrum in the store, helping existing and new customers with product choices and service explanations.

You’ll need a high school diploma, strong math and cash handling skills, and a comfort level with technology. Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus, and a positive, team-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payments.
• Comfort with personal technology and mobile devices.
• Strong reading/writing and multitasking ability in English.
• Sales/customer service experience (1–5 years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enhancing the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
• Identifying sales opportunities and creating ideal customer experiences through product support.
• Building positive customer relationships, listening, and overcoming objections while communicating product value.
• Maintaining knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, promotions and visuals while minimizing losses.
• Ensuring a welcoming store atmosphere, clean retail area, policy adherence and effective communication.
