Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate for an onsite role in Sterling Heights, MI. You will drive retail sales through excellent customer service and a passion for technology, uncover customer needs, and propose complete top-down solutions.

You may perform outbound outreach and engage in community events to grow the customer base. The position offers base pay from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour plus up to $18,000 in commissions, with top performers potentially earning $65,000–$75,500

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
1+ year of relevant sales or customer service experience.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Open to picking up additional shifts during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

Generate retail sales by using your passion for technology and exceptional customer service.
Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
Close sales by using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with tech solutions.

Potential to grow your customer base by outbound calls and texts to existing Verizon customers.
Engage with the community outside the store at Verizon-sponsored events to expand the loyal customer base.
