Job summary

Verizon Retail is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate in Michigan to grow the network and deliver exceptional customer service. You will uncover customer needs, present product solutions, and close sales through strong communication.

Ongoing training and opportunities to reach a broader customer base through events and outreach await you. Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour with potential to earn up to $18,000 per year in commissions and top performers reaching $65,000–$75,500

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant sales/customer service experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Open to picking up additional shifts to earn more income.
• Experience in a commission-based environment and strong sales orientation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to grow Verizon network.
• Learn customer needs by connecting and asking questions.
• Recommend product insights and solutions for a top-down sales approach.
• Close sales with clear communication to meet customer needs.
• Participate in training and upskilling across merchandising and inventory.
• Possibly engage current customers with outbound calls or texts about products and services.
• Represent Verizon at off-site events to expand the customer base.
