Half Price Pawn is hiring for a full-time Retail Sales Associate in our Houston area stores. You will handle sales, loans, and customer questions, with a base hourly rate and commission based on productivity.

Earned Wage Access and a comprehensive benefits package are available, along with vacation, sick time, and 401k options. This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and flexible scheduling in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Should be able to work in multiple locations as needed.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop a rapport and provide financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Explains legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Partners with staff to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes training and performs other duties as assigned.
