Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Abilene. Earn $12.50–$15.50 per hour plus unlimited commission, with earned wage access after day 2 and employee discounts from day one.

You will greet customers, explain pawn and loan terms, process transactions, and maintain an organized sales floor. Bilingual candidates are encouraged; firearms handling is part of some locations with certification provided.

Qualifications

• 18+ with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Comfortable with merchandise including firearms in FFL locations (certification provided).
• Strong customer service and team-minded approach.
• Basic math and computer skills; experience with retail checkout systems is a plus.
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth, customer-focused experience.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
