Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is offering a Sales and Management Internship in Montgomery, AL. The role focuses on delivering an enjoyable guest experience while performing sales, merchandising, and daily store operations under store management guidance.

Interns will learn Buckle’s retail business, support the team in customer service, merchandising, and loss prevention, and participate in leadership development activities and department projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field of study.
• No prior experience or training required for the internship.

Responsibilities

• Sales Generation and Guest Service: greet guests, answer questions, recommend merchandise, create a wardrobe experience, and process transactions.
• Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development: participate in recruiting and maintain positive store culture.
• Visual Merchandise Management: present merchandise to maximize sales and keep the floor current.
• Operations: flexible schedule, cash handling, loss prevention, POS procedures, and store cleanliness.
• Internship Duties: complete Buckle Management Manual sections, provide progress reports, manage a product category, lead and motivate the team.
