Job summary

KnitWell Group, operating Soma stores, seeks a Sales Lead at Store 5016-Oakbrook Center-Soma-Oak Brook, IL 60523. The role partners with store leaders to supervise the team, uphold brand standards, and foster a hospitality-driven, customer-centered environment.

You will guide operations, coach staff, and ensure exceptional in-store experiences while supporting scheduling and daily tasks. Flexible availability is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• A team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch and lift up to 50 pounds, and operate the register.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general operations, including opening and closing.
• Share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory, and replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current promotions and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling when needed.
• Share ideas with the store leadership team and contribute to a positive work environment.
