Job summary

Astound in California is seeking an experienced Retail/Customer Service professional to oversee daily operations across our retail and RSR functions. You will support onboarding, manage multi-store staff schedules, and coach the RSR team to deliver high-quality service and sales performance.

You'll ensure accurate cash handling, review batch corrections, and collaborate with regional retail leadership to meet company objectives.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years’ experience at Astound in Retail or other Customer Service related functions.
• Phone customer support/service background.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal skills with customers, peers, and management.
• Is positive, pleasant, and respectful.
• Bilingual skills a plus.
• Friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing demeanor.
• Knowledge of cable and data products and services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of Retail and RSR functions.
• Support onboarding of retail staff.
• Manage day-to-day tasks of overseeing multi-store employee work and time-off schedules.
• Train, assist, coach, and develop RSR team in partnership with Regional Retail Manager.
• Act as retail store back-up for Regional Retail stores, including coverage for lunches, breaks, and vacation.
• Influence retail employees to focus on high quality service, sales, and retention efforts.
• Promote company objectives and champion World-class customer experience.
• Collaborate on developing and distributing sales and service reporting.
• Review and complete team batch adjustments.
• Collaborate with and provide auxiliary support for other retail teams and work groups within the Region.
• Oversee accurate cash handling for multiple retail stores and RSR group; preparing deposits and posting payments.
• Assist with organizing and auditing RSR commissions; tracking attendance and payroll as needed.
• Seek opportunities to enhance the company's image with customers; maintain professional appearance and respect for customers and property.
• Provide accurate and efficient feedback to customer issues by improving knowledge of services/equipment.
• Review and authorize corrections and credits of customer accounts (local level with Retail Management).
• Other duties as assigned.
