OVERVIEW:

The Lead has a direct impact on both the execution of brand standards and the teammate experience. With guidance from the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the in-store expert of their department. The Lead focuses on delivering excellent service to customers and providing direction to teammates. Key qualities include leading by example, being empathetic, resilient, optimistic, and collaborative.

  • Supports building and hiring a strong team by observing in-store interviews and department tours.
  • Builds a people-first culture by connecting with every teammate to foster mutual trust and respect, contributing to a strong store recognition culture.
  • Plans, organizes, and controls 30-day outlooks with guidance from the Assistant Store Manager, including workforce planning and execution of daily tasks, projects, or store events.
  • Leverages teammates strategically to meet brand standards, execute programs, and delegate tasks based on priority.
  • Upholds merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage, pricing, and inventory standards.
  • Assists store leadership with general supervision in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Helps train teammates on company procedures and programs, including onboarding and cross-training.
  • Prioritizes coaching and development, providing hands-on guidance and explaining the reasons behind tasks and processes.
  • Leads by example to support organizational vision, helping teammates understand how their roles contribute to overall goals and customer experience.
  • Creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
  • Adheres to policies related to safety, loss prevention, and confidentiality.
  • Supports the team across the store with a proactive approach.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior retail or customer-focused experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift 15-35 lbs repeatedly.
  • Ability to work extended periods standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
  • Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet using ladders or lifting devices.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).
