Job summary

Chico's FAS, Inc. in Katy, TX is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and model hospitality. You will uphold brand standards and help create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.

You will assist with opening/closing, scheduling, inventory, and product knowledge while coaching staff to meet performance goals. This is a regular/part-time role in a storefront setting.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• A team player with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products, operate the register, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development and assist with scheduling as needed.
• Share ideas with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork.
