Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Lead at Store 5284 in Peoria, IL. You will partner with store leaders to supervise the team, uphold brand standards, and create a welcoming customer-centered environment that goes beyond the transaction.

Responsibilities include assisting with operations, communicating brand priorities, coaching the team, and managing schedules, inventory, and cash handling. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general operations including opening/closing.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching to keep the team aligned with performance goals.
• Execute cash handling, scheduling, inventory management and replenishment.
