Job summary

Chico's FAS, Inc. is seeking a Sales Lead in Chesapeake, VA to partner with store leaders to supervise the team, uphold brand standards, and foster a welcoming, customer-focused culture.

You will set clear direction to achieve store goals and create memorable experiences that reflect our hospitality-driven environment. Responsibilities include assisting with opening/closing, sharing brand priorities, coaching, and managing cash, scheduling, inventory, and merchandising.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development and assist with scheduling when needed.
