Job summary

Soma in Columbus, OH seeks a Sales Lead to partner with store leadership, supervise the team, and model exceptional hospitality. You will set the tone for achieving goals with clear direction, coaching, and a customer-focused approach to create memorable shopping experiences.

You will support opening/closing operations, product knowledge sharing, and an omni-channel sales mindset, while upholding brand standards and fostering a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team-oriented with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities: cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling when needed.
• Share ideas with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork.
