Job summary

Lane Bryant in Rockford, IL is seeking a Sales Lead to create an engaging environment for associates and customers. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to execute daily action plans and cultivate a store where operations run smoothly and employees stay motivated.

Your leadership will help guide the team, and you may step into the Manager role when needed, with training and development opportunities across our brands.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Passion for styling and love of working with people.
• Flexible availability – including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Proficient with technology, including store systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and engage with them to understand their needs and support their shopping experiences.
• Share knowledge of products and services to outfit and inspire customers.
• Empower teams to exceed customer expectations through the company selling model.
• Help store leaders execute daily operational action plans.
• Motivate and coach associates to recognize and improve performance.
• Drive results by identifying business opportunities with store leaders.
• Assess daily schedules to maximize productivity and payroll alignment.
• Share daily communications with store teams and prioritize tasks.
• Support onboarding of new associates and adherence to brand guidelines.
