Job summary

KnitWell Group, a specialty retail operating company, is seeking a Sales Lead for The Shops on El Paseo in Palm Desert. You will supervise the team, model exceptional hospitality, and partner with store leaders to drive brand standards and positive customer experiences.

With 2 years of retail management preferred, you will coach staff, manage scheduling, and ensure operations run smoothly while upholding policies and promoting store growth.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching to maintain performance goals.
• Execute operations activities: cash handling, scheduling, inventory, replenishment.
• Stay knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling as needed.
• Share ideas with store leadership and contribute to a positive work environment.
