Job summary

Vans, a VF Corporation brand, is seeking a Sales Lead to support store leadership by delivering exceptional customer engagement and achieving sales goals. This part-time or internship role emphasizes coaching, feedback, and maintaining brand voice in a fast-paced retail environment.

You'll stand in for managers during absences, contribute to a consumer-centric store, and help drive results through teamwork, communication, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive results through store teams and exceed sales and profit goals.
• Proven ability to drive results through team coaching and operational excellence
• Skilled in coaching, motivating, and building high-performing, diverse teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
• Solution-oriented and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
• Capable of working independently, managing shifting priorities, and meeting business expectations.
• Comfortable using word processing, spreadsheets, and retail software tools.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high level of personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
• Assist in maximizing and achieving store sales and goals by monitoring sales progress against key targets.
• Foster a consumer centric mindset and an inclusive store environment, while modeling selling behaviors through genuine interactions with consumers.
• Assist in providing direct feedback, coaching and supervision of the associates.
• Occasionally assume responsibility for the store in the absence of another manager.
• Regularly interact with consumers within the store, providing a high level of customer service.
• Provide actionable feedback to store associates and adhere to policies, procedures and practices that align with company directives.
