Overview

The Lead has a direct impact on both the execution of brand standards and the teammate experience. With guidance from the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the in-store expert of their department. They focus on delivering excellent service to customers and providing direction to teammates. Key qualities include leading by example, empathy, resilience, optimism, and collaboration.

  • Supports building and hiring a strong team through interviews and department tours.
  • Builds a people-first culture by connecting with every teammate to foster mutual trust and respect, contributing to a strong store recognition culture.
  • Plans and organizes 30-day strategies with guidance, including workforce planning to execute daily tasks, projects, and store events.
  • Leverages teammates to meet brand standards, execute programs and processes daily, and delegate tasks based on priority.
  • Upholds merchandising and presentation standards according to company policies.
  • Assists with general supervision of the store in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Supports training new and current teammates on company procedures and programs.
  • Prioritizes coaching and development, providing hands-on guidance and teaching the 'why' behind tasks.
  • Leads by example to align responsibilities with organizational goals and ensure a hassle-free shopping experience.
  • Creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
  • Adheres to policies related to safety, loss prevention, and confidentiality.

Qualifications
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Retail or customer-focused experience preferred.
  • Golf experience preferred.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift 15-35 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Ability to work extended periods standing or walking, including at heights with equipment.
