Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to enhance the patient experience in our stores. Pay Class: Part Time

Pay: $14.70 - 17.29 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead is the face of our business, dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is knowledgeable about optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The Sr. OS guides patients/customers through the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple, human, and bold way. A Senior Optical Specialist has at least 12 months of prior optical industry experience.

The SR. OS maintains license requirements per state guidelines and dispenses eyewear in states where licensed.

  • Delivers daily sales goals by executing the Customer/Patient Experience journey effectively
  • Engages with patients/customers and recommends products and services that meet their eye care needs
  • Measures patients/customers for eyewear and maintains product/optical knowledge through continuous training to ensure eyewear is right the first time; troubleshoots eyewear needs as necessary
  • Supports store operations, including opening and closing, in lead positions to meet financial and customer experience goals

Qualifications:

  • At least 12 months of optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience
  • Maintains Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed
