Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking Retail Sales Supervisors to champion customer engagement and oversee front-of-store operations. You will focus on increasing sales, conversions, and service while actively engaging customers to provide complete solutions.

Hiring immediately, with potential for an in-person interview soon after applying. Provide peer coaching, drive a great store experience, and own weekly sales activities.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needs.
• 1+ year experience selling retail products or services.
• Engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Effective communication skills and organizational ability.
• Experience coaching a team and/or supervising others.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and managing conflict.
• Honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information.
• Ability to lift/move materials up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer coaching and support to the store team to drive customer service, sales, and conversion.
• Focus on an exceptional store experience, consultative selling, driving conversion, and total solutions for customers.
• Own weekly sales and merchandising activities.
• Perform Floor Leader role to deliver a great customer experience across store areas.
• Champion company initiatives and adapt to change or additional duties as assigned.
• Remain available and support an engaging store environment.
• Complete daily merchandising and sales tasks.
• Assist with operational tasks in partnership with the GM.
• Peer coach team on behaviors to win and deliver results through role playing and feedback.
