Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking a Retail Sales Supervisor to champion customer engagement and supervise front-of-store operations in a busy retail environment. You will drive sales, conversions and service while coaching teammates to deliver total solutions to customers.

You will lead weekly sales and merchandising activities, act as Floor Leader, and promote company initiatives. The role offers flexible hours with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule required based on the store's needs.
• 1+ year experience selling retail products or services.
• Ability to engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, adaptable to changing priorities.
• Experience coaching a team or supervising others.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Able to lift/move 10-50 pounds, climb ladders, stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Champion customer engagement and oversee the front of store operations.
• Provide peer coaching and support to the store team to drive customer service, sales, and conversion.
• Focus on exceptional store experience, consultative selling, driving conversion, and providing total solutions to every customer
• Own weekly sales and merchandising activities
• Perform Floor Leader role, directing the team to deliver a great customer experience in all areas of the store
• Champion company initiatives, adaptable to change or responsibilities, and flexible to perform other duties as assigned
• Remain available and always support an engaging environment
• Complete daily tasks for merchandising and sales opportunities within the store
• Assist with completing and delegating operational tasks in partnership with the GM
• Peer coach team on the behaviors to win, deliver great customer service and to deliver results through role playing and feedback
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned
