Johnnie-O is seeking a Retail Sales Lead in our Austin store to deliver an exceptional customer experience and build lasting relationships within a welcoming, on-brand environment.

You will guide styling discussions, share product knowledge, manage client books, and actively drive sales while supporting events and community outreach. This role emphasizes premium service, teamwork, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of retail or customer service experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with customers
• Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to service
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and reflect the Johnnie-O brand
• Understand needs and styling preferences to propose solutions
• Provide knowledgeable feedback and personalized styling suggestions
• Share product knowledge, new arrivals and events to engage customers
• Maintain client books and follow up to build relationships
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals
• Proactively engage customers and upsell products
• Assist with outreach, appointments, and event support
• Keep sales floor and fitting rooms clean, organized and stocked
• Restock, re-merchandise, and support seasonal floor changes
• Assist with inventory accuracy and communicate stock needs to leadership
• Process transactions accurately including returns and exchanges
• Follow cash handling procedures in POS system
• Support back-of-house duties and other store tasks as needed
