Job summary

Soma store in The Shops at Nanuet, NY, is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and model brand standards while creating a welcoming, customer-centered environment that reflects our culture of hospitality.

You will open/close, coach the team, manage schedules and inventory, and ensure knowledge of promotions and policies with a flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays schedule.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability - nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and operate the register.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general store operations, including opening/closing.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current promotions and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling as needed.
• Share ideas with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment with teamwork.
