Job summary

The Post Oak in Biloxi, MS is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate to help customers choose products, engage shoppers, and drive sales. You will greet guests, provide product knowledge, and process payments at the register while keeping the sales floor organized.

The role requires excellent communication, reliability, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. A high school diploma and at least one year of retail or customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail with payment processing.
• Basic math skills for handling payments.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales through engagement of customers
• Greet and receive customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
• Work with fellow co-workers and management to keep retail space clean and always organized
• Maintain product on sales floor and filling backstock throughout assigned shift
• Responsible for a point-of-sale register and accepting credit cards, cash, comps or in payment of retail items
• Verifying identity of customers when using comps as a form of payment for retail items
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees
• Performs any other duties as assigned
