Job summary

KnitWell Group’s Soma brand in Rochester, MN is looking for a Sales Lead to partner with store leadership, supervise the team, and model exceptional service. You’ll drive brand standards, coach staff, and create welcoming, hospitality-driven experiences for customers.

You will open/close store operations, manage schedules and inventory, share brand priorities, and use omni-channel approaches to hit sales goals while developing teammates for advancement.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
