Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Lead in Southern Pines, NC to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and uphold brand standards. You will create a welcoming, customer-centered environment and guide associates to deliver personalized experiences that reflect our hospitality culture.

In this role you will coach, schedule, and manage day-to-day operations while maintaining a strong focus on sales goals and brand execution. Flexible availability is required to support store needs.

Qualifications

• 2 years retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general store operations including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Stay knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling.
• Share ideas with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork.
