Job summary

KnitWell Group’s Newport store is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and drive a welcoming, customer-centered experience at WHBM. You will coach staff, manage operations, and uphold brand standards while supporting omni-channel sales and product knowledge.

The role requires the ability to open/close, handle cash, and lift up to 50 pounds, with flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability—nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with daily operations including opening/closing.
• Share brand priorities and messages with team.
• Lead by example on the sales floor with product knowledge.
• Coach and encourage the team to meet performance goals.
• Handle cash, schedules, inventory, and replenishment.
• Know current promotions and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve store performance.
