Job summary

Chico's Canton, CT is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leadership, supervise the team, and set the tone for a welcoming, customer-centered shopping experience. You will uphold brand standards and drive daily store performance on the sales floor and in operations.

You will coach staff, share product knowledge, and support scheduling, inventory, and replenishment while delivering personalized service in a fashion-forward environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability—nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with opening and closing responsibilities.
• Share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
