Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the primary contact for customers, help set up plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and maximize profitability while protecting company assets.

You will unload trucks, stock and face shelves, build displays, assist customers, and operate the cash register. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with equal opportunity employment noted in the posting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions.
• Operate cash register, ring up purchases and bag items.
• Restock recovered merchandise and keep store clean.
• Support ordering merchandise with scanners as needed.
