Job summary

OnPath Federal Credit Union is seeking an Associate Retail Sales Coach to drive sales culture and service training across multiple branches in the New Orleans metro area. This role balances coaching with frontline branch activities to ensure staffing continuity and excellent member service.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in retail or financial services, strong communication, and a passion for adult learning and staff development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail or financial institution environment.
• Prior experience in a training, coaching, or member-facing role is preferred.
• An interest in adult learning and staff development is a plus.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a related field preferred; or a minimum of 2 years of experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales and service culture training to new and existing employees under the direction of the Retail Sales Coach.
• Provide coaching support to employees at branch locations during training visits.
• Monitor onboarding progress during the 90-day onboarding period and report observations to the Retail Sales Coach.
• Schedule and coordinate training branches and classroom sessions.
• Maintain and update training materials as directed.
• Apply adult learning principles to support learners at different experience levels.
• Temporarily perform frontline responsibilities when needed to support staffing, service continuity, or operational initiatives.
• Model and reinforce OnPath's member service standards and sales culture in all branch interactions.
