Job summary

OnPath Federal Credit Union is seeking an Associate Retail Operations Coach to help deliver operational training across all retail branches in the greater New Orleans metro area. This player/coach role splits 50/50 between coaching and frontline branch operations, focusing on onboarding, branch procedures, and regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in retail branch ops, or a related training role, and a degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail branch operations or financial institution environment.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, operations, education, or related field preferred; or a minimum of 2 years of experience may substitute.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be available Monday to Friday and some Saturday training events or after-hour events.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for multi-branch travel across the greater New Orleans metro area.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and continuing education of retail team members on branch procedures and compliance.
• Provide coaching and procedural support to branch staff during training visits; report progress to the Retail Operations Coach.
• Assist in monitoring new hire progress during the 90-day onboarding period and report observations.
• Help schedule and coordinate operational training branches and classroom sessions.
• Update and maintain operational training materials as directed.
• Balance coaching with frontline branch operations to support staffing, service continuity, or initiatives.
