Job Summary
Responsible for executing Acquisition 365, renewing, upgrading, and cross-selling BJ’s Loyalty Programs. Also responsible for merchandise returns, exchanges, pick-ups, and general customer service inquiries. Provides excellent and efficient member service.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Promote BJ’s value proposition regarding acquisition, retention, perks, and the Member experience.
- Effectively pitch all membership programs to potential members in accordance with company policies.
- Sell BJ’s membership products to new and existing members with enthusiasm.
- Drive toward achieving established goals and benchmarks.
- Understand all BJ’s Membership options and Co-Brand credit card offerings.
- Provide superior customer service as a first point of contact for membership, credit applications, questions, issues, returns, exchanges, look-ups, and pickups.
- Follow policies regarding tax-exempt/resale memberships, monitor renewals and status.
- Resolve member concerns courteously and promptly, escalating when necessary.
- Assist with BOPIC orders for members.
- Maintain adherence to club policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including cross-departmental work.
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
Qualifications
- Prior front-line/customer service or sales experience preferred.
- Results-driven with a track record of achieving goals.
- Basic math skills preferred.
- Computer proficiency preferred.
Environmental Job Conditions
- Primarily stationary work on hard surfaces; occasional bending, handling, pulling, reaching, or stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds; may require assistance for heavier objects.
- Indoor environment with infrequent exposure to temperature extremes and noise; occasional contact with cleaning agents.
